What will SAFE Services do for me?
¨ SAFE Services will provide a child centered, secure environment for my child(ren)
¨ SAFE Services will observe and document my interaction with my child(ren) in a factual, neutral way
¨ SAFE Services will help facilitate the time and day for my interactions with my child(ren)
¨ SAFE Services will expect me to follow the rules and guidelines expressed in the intake information
What won’t SAFE Services do for me?
¨ SAFE Services will not act as the “go between” to the parties involved—decisions will be made by both parties and then reported to the Coordinator
¨ SAFE Service staff will not act as a mediator, attorney, therapist, or case manager. These services may be found elsewhere
¨ SAFE Service staff will not allow me to talk to my child(ren) about court proceedings, the other parent, financial concerns and/or anything else that makes my child uncomfortable or distressed
¨ SAFE Service staff will not act as an ally with me or with the other parent. Their focus is on the safety of my child(ren)
